ScarRedux™ is a system of derma-repair treatment for scars resulting from wounds, surgery, burns, cysts of acne, etc. ScarRedux™ prevents hypertrophy and keloids. ScarRedux™ gel can also be used in skin repair treatment for roseola and recent stretch marks.

THE ScarRedux™ SOLUTION : A UNIQUE SYSTEM

ScarRedux™ is a new and unique system composed of 2 products (gel and silicone sheet) that are made to work in complementarity (synergy).

THE TWO ELEMENTS OF THE ScarRedux™ SYSTEM

1) Gel — Derma-repair treatment actively rejuvenates live skin cells, restructures cutaneous micro-relief while reviving the tone and vitality of the epidermis. ScarRedux™ gel combines active botanical and aquatic agents bearing elevated concentrations of marine trace elements derived from pink ‘coral’ algae (Corallina officinalis).

2) Silicone Sheet — These sheets are utilized in hospitals because of their mild, flexible and occlusive nature, the silicone sheet is made of medical grade polysiloxane of one (1) mm thick.

METHOD OF USE AND MAINTENANCE

● GEL-- Wash the skin well with soap and water, dry thoroughly. Apply a small dab of gel (rub lightly) to completely cover the scar and about one (1) cm surrounding it. A single application of ScarRedux™ gel smoothes, softens and lessens scar tissue, and soothes irritation. Recommended : Two to three applications per day. The scar should be covered with gel 24 hours a day. Never apply to an open or weeping wound.

● SILICONE SHEETS -- Apply the gel (rub lightly) on the scar , one (1) cm all around and then cover the scar entirely with the silicone sheet. The silicone sheet should be worn every day for a minimum period of six (6) hours, and a maximum of eight (8) hours, preferably over night. After each use wash the silicone sheet with a soft soap and lukewarm water, dry thoroughly and put back in its pouch. Never apply to an open or weeping wound.

Note : The regeneration of cutaneous tissue is more efficient when the gel and the silicone sheet are used in system (together).

ScarRedux™ Silicone Sheeting. Please read carefully.

Follow these simple instructions when using ScarRedux™ silicone sheeting.

  1. Peel off the fine transparent plastic film covering sheet.
  2. If the silicone sheet does not adhere sufficiently, wear a tight-fitting garment or cover area with two strips of adhesive medical tape for sensitive skin.
  3. After use, wash sheet in warm water with a mild soap, then dry with a clean towel. The sheet will thus regain its adhesive quality.
  4. Store sheet in pouch until needed.

FOR OPTIMAL RESULTS, ScarRedux™ SYSTEM MUST BE USED DAILY.

DURATION OF TREATMENT
Improvement may be seen in 2-8 weeks. Individual results may vary. All scars can be treated no matter how old they are, thus the older the scar (20 or 30 years) the longer the treatment. The duration of the treatment varies from one person to another. The age of the scar and skin type are some of the factors that influence the duration of the treatment. The ScarRedux™ system is a treatment that could last from 2 — 12 months. It is important to apply the treatment every day. With normal usage, one ScarRedux system kit should be sufficient for the full duration of the treatment. You need to buy many times the competitors product to have the same end result you would get with the purchase of only 1 ScarRedux system.
